What is a PADI IDC?

The PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course) is the most sought after Instructor Program in the world. It sets the standard for scuba instructor training and is the most comprehensive scuba diving instructor program in the dive industry.

The IDC is the pulse of PADI Instructor Development Course. You will learn and apply diving knowledge and skills while using the PADI System of Diver Education in the classroom and in the water. For those candidates with tight schedules, PADI IDC also consists of 2 sections, the Assistant Instructor (AI) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program, which allow them to attend the IDC in 2 blocks of time.
